These links will be saved for future reference. Q2. Does CrossCoder allow me to search for certain CPT or ICD codes? A2. Yes. CrossCoder comes with a search function that allows you to search by code or by description for both CPT and ICD codes. Q3. Does CrossCoder print reports? A3. Yes. CrossCoder allows you to print all links for either a CPT or ICD code. Q4. Does CrossCoder allow me to add coding or billing notes? A4. Yes. CrossCoder allows you to add notes to the CPT or ICD Look Up code. These notes will are saved for future reference. Q5. Does CrossCoder come with free Tech Support? A5. Yes. System Links - Links that are distributed on the CD ROM. 2. House Links - Links that are added from our update page www.crosscoder.com/updates.html and 3. User Links - Links that you add. Q7. Does CrossCoder work both ways - ICD to CPT and CPT to ICD? A7. Yes, CrossCoder find ICD Diagnosis codes that are linked to CPT Procedures and CPT Procedures that are linked to ICD Codes. Q8. Does CrossCoder come with an instruction book? A8. No, CrossCoder has been designed for the beginner computer user. With one main screen and excellent help F1 feature you do not need a technical manual. In fact, most users will be master every feature in 10 minutes. Q9. Does CrossCoder offer updates on "crosswalks" or "links"? A9. Yes, House Links will be updated at www.crosscoder.com/updates.html throughout the year. Q10. No, Although we make every effort to verify accuracy, with over 500,000 links we cannot guarantee that our product is error or omission free. Further more the rules for medical necessity vary among payers including Medicare Part B carriers. Just because you get paid from one payer with a CPT - ICD combination does not mean another payer considers it acceptable. Q13. Can I export from CrossCoder to a datafile? A13. Yes. CrossCoder comes in two versions: Standard ($199) and Professional ($999). The difference is exporting. The Professional Version has exporting privileges. File formats include dBASE and MS Access.
